Dhara: The Poor Child Education Support

We are all aware that education is very important. Children are the FUTURE of any country and will play a key role in future development of the nation. In India good education determines the future of any child, lacking an appropriate social support system.

Millions of parents in India are too poor to afford the education of their children. In lack of sufficient social supports, thousands of homeless children and children of poor parents have no other option except begging, child labour and committing crimes. Consequently, thousands of children’s minds are wasted due to poverty induced illiteracy. With your minor supports and donations, the life of these children can be brightened.

Childhood is the most beautiful period of a human life. By sponsoring the education of children you on the one hand improve their life and provide them with an opportunity to gain knowledge and develop their personalities, preparing them for their later career, on the other hand you enable them to enjoy their childhood fulfilled with joy, love, care, and balanced nutrition.

Children are the future of any nation, “If we educate them, we educate The Nation”

Our Activities, an overview

  • We request helping hands, collect donations and educate children.
  • We Contact children who cannot afford to go to school (no parents/homeless) or whose parents cannot effort their education (very poor parents) or do not let them go to school because they are dependent on their children’s support.
  • Field work: we meet and convince the parents
  • We provide free education, food and other amenities (as far as possible)
  • We welcome volunteers who like to teach e.g. language, music, yoga, science etc
  • We pass on the love, and care of the supporting people from all over the world to the children in need.

“Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations. All this is put in your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it, honour it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it on to your children”
                                                                                                       Albert Einstein
